Starships Are Meant To Fly

I had one of the most awesome weekends ever with the Poly bunch on Saturday's birthday-cum-farewell party at Regent Hotel - an impromptu music video of Starships (check it out at the bottom of the post), silly videos of us dancing to songs, stupid video commentary by Rachy and I while the rest were sleeping, Russian Roulette, Circle of Death, epic Brenda, epic moments.

And blogging about parties means.... pictures!!! I edited my pics again because I like 'em photos to be at half saturation.

In everyone's life, there will always be one or two groups of friends that you'll never be able to forget no matter how long has passed. These amazing people fall into that category for me and so I believe that we'll be able to withstand the test of time even if the Perth peeps aren't gonna be here. Gonna miss all five of y'all so much please prepare some tissue for me when I see y'all off. I told Nava I won't cry but we all know that it is impossible lololol. :| Gonna aim for a trip down (under) in August.

Crash

So I went for TK Band In-Concert 2013 and honestly I don't have anything much to say about it, lol (good or not-so-good, go figure). To cut it short, the best part was getting to meet my juniors and hanging out with them. Oh, I was really impressed with Shawn, the pianist, during the concerto. Work 'em fingers!

Dinner was at Olive Vine @ Marina Square. The food there was pretty awesome and not too costly (and no service charge!!) so I'd definitely recommend it!

If there are five things I learnt today, they are:

1) Having a good reputation doesn't mean quality all the time.
2) Never do things without thinking of the consequences.
3) Secondary school students have no concert etiquette. AT ALL.
4) Brian tells super long stories.
5) I'm always hungry.

Go For Gold!

Ah, my first music event (almost) of the year - Kyle Patrick's autograph session! This was my third time seeing him - and they were all up-close. Pretty cool to see him again - and man is he getting more handsome as time goes by!

How sweet of him to stand up to greet the children! Aww!

Autographed KP album and poster - thank you Yiyun for helping get the poster signed! The pick was given to me by 987FM's Divian after I had to sing a small part of 'Go For Gold' LOL.

Met up with a few of them from the Poly bunch (or TWEEPS as we call ourselves now) for dinner after that. The Handburger + dessert and ice cream from The Cafe Cartel at 50% + casual banter = great night.

Can't believe there's only less than a month left till 'em Perth people leave! My poor heart... But I'm really looking forward to 26th Jan. Gonna be the most epic party yet.

First Blogpost of 2013

I know, such a boring title but it is the most apt. I'd really like to do a 2012 round-up but I'm so lazy and it's already too late for one (lol excuses). Anyway, 2013 has been pretty awesome so far. And it looks to be even more exciting. I'm going to meet Kyle Patrick on Saturday hehe. I've got mixed feelings about February because I will be sending off and not seeing five awesome people in a very long time. /BAWLS/
However, I'm especially looking forward to March - All Time Low and The Script gigs and Hong Kong with them Chapmanites! Wahhh.

I'll be back soon - hopefully to write a bit on my latest Korea trip. I realised I didn't even talk about my trip to Seoul in May. Tsktsk Michy.

By the way, isn't just Infinite-H one of the best things to happen in Infinite, ever? Hot damn Dongwoo. How do you look so good in pink hair?!
